How to get access

This service is available on request — email or ask Ammo directly. There is a limit to how much storage is available and media uses a lot of data.

Need more space? You can:

  • Make your own server with our help, from an existing old PC or buying a used PC, plus storage, to add to the network, increasing storage and spreading the load, or
  • Contribute storage to the home server (a spare HDD/SSD), or
  • Sponsor additional storage for the cost of a drive amortised over its life.

Either way, it will always be cheaper than the paid equivalent (Google One, iCloud+, Dropbox Plus, etc.) — and your data stays on hardware you can physically point at.

What it does

A modern self-hosted music streaming server (Subsonic-compatible API) with a clean web UI, smart playlists, and scrobbling.

Replaces

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal (for music you own).

Login

Sign in with Authentik SSO — click Sign in with Authentik / OpenID. If you're already signed in to Authentik, you'll be let straight through. See Authentik if you haven't set up your account or 2FA yet.

Apps (Subsonic-compatible)

  • Android: Symfonium (paid, excellent), Tempo, DSub, Ultrasonic, Substreamer.
  • iOS: play:Sub, Amperfy, substreamer.
  • Desktop: Sonixd, Supersonic, Feishin, or the Navidrome web UI.

Quick start

  1. In your app's server settings, URL: https://navidrome.deepinthesand.com.
  2. Use Login with OpenID/SSO if supported, otherwise create an app-specific password in Navidrome (Profile → Change Password) and use that.
  3. Build playlists. Enable Last.fm/ListenBrainz scrobbling under Profile.
