What it does

A Slack-like team chat platform — channels, DMs, threads, file sharing, audio/video, integrations.

Replaces

Slack, Microsoft Teams (chat), Discord (for closed groups).

Login

Sign in with Authentik SSO — click Sign in with Authentik / OpenID. If you're already signed in to Authentik, you'll be let straight through. See Authentik if you haven't set up your account or 2FA yet.

Apps

  • Desktop: Rocket.Chat for Win/Mac/Linux from https://rocket.chat/downloads.
  • Mobile: Rocket.Chat on Google Play / App Store.
  • On first run, set the workspace URL to https://chat.deepinthesand.com.

How to use

Join the channels relevant to you, set notification preferences per-channel, use threads for focused replies.
