What it does

Self-hosted video calls — no account needed for participants, screen sharing, recording, chat, virtual backgrounds, breakout rooms, optional E2EE.

Replaces

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams (calls).

Login

Authentik SSO to create a room; joining requires only the link.

Apps

  • Browser: works in Firefox/Chrome/Edge.
  • Mobile: Jitsi Meet on Google Play / App Store — change server URL to meet.deepinthesand.com under Settings.

How to use

  1. Sign in, type a room name, Start meeting.
  2. Share the URL. Participants don't need an account.
  3. Enable E2EE from the kebab menu for sensitive calls (browsers only, peer-to-peer only).
