How to get access

This service is available on request — email or ask Ammo directly. There is a limit to how much storage is available and media uses a lot of data.

Need more space? You can:

  • Make your own server with our help, from an existing old PC or buying a used PC, plus storage, to add to the network, increasing storage and spreading the load, or
  • Contribute storage to the home server (a spare HDD/SSD), or
  • Sponsor additional storage for the cost of a drive amortised over its life.

Either way, it will always be cheaper than the paid equivalent (Google One, iCloud+, Dropbox Plus, etc.) — and your data stays on hardware you can physically point at.

What it does

A self-hosted media server for movies, TV shows, music, and live TV. Transcodes on the fly, tracks watch progress, supports profiles per user.

Replaces

Netflix, Disney+, Plex, Emby.

Login

Jellyfin uses its own username and password (not Authentik). Ammo will send these to you separately. The same credentials also work on Seerr.

Tip: change your password after first login (top-right profile → Settings → Password).

Apps

  • Android / Android TV: Jellyfin (official), Findroid, Jellyfin Media Player.
  • iOS / tvOS: Jellyfin (official) or Swiftfin.
  • Desktop: Jellyfin Media Player for Win/Mac/Linux, or any browser.
  • Kodi: Jellyfin for Kodi add-on.
  • Roku, Fire TV, LG/Samsung TVs: official apps available.

Quick start

  1. Install the app → Add server → https://watch.asfamily.co.uk.
  2. Log in with the credentials Ammo provided.
  3. Browse and play. Mobile apps support downloads for offline viewing.
